About the Role: We seek skilled Joomla Web Developers to join our team as contractors. The ideal candidates will be proficient in Joomla, with extensive experience in Gantry 5 and Rockettheme templates. The role demands a strong foundation in web languages and applications, including HTML, PHP, and MySQL. The developers should have experience implementing best web design practices to create engaging, user-friendly websites that align with our clients' objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain websites using Joomla, with a focus on Gantry 5 and Rockettheme templates.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in HTML, PHP, and MySQL.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness of websites.
- Collaborate with the design team to implement visually appealing and functional designs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Stay updated with the latest web design trends and technologies, and apply them in projects as appropriate.
- Participate in project planning and provide input on website design and structure.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Joomla Web Developer.
- Proficient in Joomla, including Gantry 5 and Rockettheme templates.
- Strong skills in HTML, PHP, and MySQL.
- Experience in applying best web design practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
